We Built the Calculator We Wished Had Existed

A while back, one of our team was trying to figure out the HSE pension projections for a colleague. We spent hours hunting around, trying to find something that would give a quick, reliable estimate without having to request a formal Pension Benefit Statement every time.

Everywhere we looked, we found either overly-simplified back-of-the-envelope numbers or dense PDFs that felt like they required an actuarial degree. Nothing sat in the middle: something that would respect the complexity of the Single Public Service Pension Scheme, apply the correct accrual rates, factor in the State Pension (Contributory) integration for Class A PRSI, and still be easy to use.
